Rolla-Hosts has a team of volunteers who specialize in moving students to new apartments within Rolla limits. This service is provided free of cost. International students moving to a new apartment need to inform Rolla-Hosts at least five days prior to the moving day as well as provide specifics as to what needs to be moved or how many boxes are being moved.

Rolla Hosts can also provide counseling to new international students about the Do’s and Don’t’s of assimilating into the culture. A Rolla-Hosts volunteer can discuss with you the specifics of applying for a driving permit, opening a bank account, renting out property, applying for classes at S&T, and even grocery shopping. Rolla-Hosts also works to connect you with the alumni of your major who can guide you about the major issues like selection of right classes, professors to work with, and useful student organizations to join.
