Ride Policies

  • A patron can request a ride once in 3 days.
  • There can be a maximum of 2 people per house hold in a ride.
  • The patron must provide a waiting time of at least 3 hours to process their request. *

Concerning Children

  • According to Missouri State Law, Children ages 4 to 8 must ride in a booster seat or appropriate child restraint system, unless they are taller than 4 feet 9 inches or weigh more than 80 lbs. You must have one of these child restraint systems or booster seat with you for the volunteer to legally perform the service.
  • Children less than age 4 or less than 40 lbs. must be secured in a child passenger restraint system You must have one of these child restraint systems or booster seat with you for the volunteer to legally perform the service.

Behavior Policies

  • Courteous behavior is expected from all the individuals. Failing which the organization can refrain future services to that individual.
  • All students are expected to take care of their belongings. The driver or the organization is not responsible for any loss.
  • All patrons are expected to be ready by the appointed time for the ride requested. If there is failure to be ready at the appointed time the ride can be cancelled by the volunteer.

Volunteer Policies

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a state inspected vehicle.
  • Must have valid insurance.
  • Under normal circumstances the rides will be provided for a maximum of 4 per vehicle (2 households as max).
